"Apparently I am naive as to the way our local officials get voted into office, but it would seem to me, if you have the most votes, then that is what the public wants. To me, it is very apparent that Scott Clemens is the choice of the public; he had almost twice as many votes as the current Mayor. That is almost double, 100% more, her votes times two. 50 more, 100 more, or even several hundred more is one thing, but she had 1,354 votes and he had 2,546 votes. . . ." (more) |
