Kids and grown-ups are getting ready to play dress up, pumpkins are being carved, and the lights in Panama City Beach neighborhoods are glowing orange. It’s Halloween again, and that means oodles of spooky fun for all. If you’re not sure what’s happening around town or how to celebrate this ghostly holiday, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. 1. Malloween at Pier Park. One of the biggest Halloween events in Panama City Beach is Pier Park’s “Malloween”, and everyone is welcome! Between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Saturday, October 31st, there will be trick or treating throughout the property, a fun hay bale maze, and costume contests for the kids.
2. ZooBoo at ZooWorld. From 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, October 31st, is ZooBoo, ZooWorld’s annual trick or treat celebration. Bring the kids for free trick or treating and a costume contest for all ages. Last admittance is at 7:30 pm, and there will be 50 spaces in each age category that will be filled on a first come first served basis.
3. Schooner’s Annual Halloween Party. This Panama City Beach event has become something of a tradition, and the costumes just keep getting crazier each year! Enjoy great live music, dancing, delicious food and a costume contest with cash prizes! The Schooners Halloween Party is happening on Saturday, October 31st till late – get ready for some fun!
4. Rosemary Beach’s Monstrous Halloween Celebration. It’s not exactly Panama City Beach, but Rosemary Beach is only a few miles out, and provides a great Halloween alternative if you are looking for something a little different this year. There’s kids trick or treating in the town center from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm that includes a pumpkin carving contest with prizes, a moonwalk, face painting, games and music. From 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Cowgirl Kitchen is hosting their second annual Halloween party, with a costume contest and all-you-can-eat-and-drink pizza and beer for just $20. If you still have the energy, from 9:00 pm to midnight Restaurant Paradis is putting own their own exciting spookfest, complete with dancing, costumes and drink specials. All events taking place Saturday, October 31st.
5. Spinnaker’s Toys for Kids Halloween Bash. The doors to this charity Halloween event open at 8:00 pm on Saturday, October 31st and the fun will last way into the wee hours! There’s over $1500 in cash prizes up for grabs for the top 3 costumes, and one lucky partygoer will win a 4 Day Carnival Cruise. Tickets are $10 for guests aged 21 and over, guests aged 21 and under will pay $20. All proceeds benefit the Toys for Kids Foundation’s goal of helping children in Bay County enjoy the holiday season. 6. Family Halloween Party at Rock’It Lanes. Come in costume and skate for FREE! Rock’It Lanes is always big on fun, and this Halloween is no exception. Bring the family to this spooktacular Panama City Beach event, and let the kids blow off some serious steam on the skating rink. There will be a costume contest with a judging at 7:00 pm, prizes, and yes, you heard right, everyone wearing a costume will skate for free! The Rock’It Lanes Family Halloween Party is being held this Friday, October 30th, so be sure to mark your calendar.
