A weekend to remember:  Everything from a good old-fashioned tree lighting to a moonlight -time boat parade!

Count your blessings if you’re here on Panama City Beach! You can have your Thanksgiving celebration, then relax and charge up for the upcoming holidays .  It’s always a great place to get some holiday pictures on the beach, and we’ve got some truly unique Bay County Christmas Traditions to share, like the Boat Parade of Lights! Bring a good jacket (just in case) so you won’t miss a thing!  This is your chance to enjoy the beaches at perhaps their most lovely or -do a little special shopping-it’ll be a unique time here on the world’s most beautiful beaches.


Tree Lighting

Friday, kick off the season with Panama City Beach. Mayor Gayle Oberst invites you to  celebrate the wonder as she lights the 20 foot tall Christmas tree in Pier Park.   Carolers will sing your holiday favorites. After dark.

St. Andrews Waterfront Marina Market

Don’t miss the old fashioned market at the brand new marina on breathtaking St Andrews Bay.  The food, fun, music and shopping begins Saturday morning at 8:30, going til noon. You’ll find arts, crafts, fresh produce and seafood. Look for signs off of Beck Avenue in St. Andrews.

The Annual Boat Parade of Lights

Saturday afternoon get ready for a delightful local tradition. At  5:30 we look out over St take Andrews Bay for the annual Boat Parade of Lights. The boats will line up at  historic St. Andrew Bay Yacht Club, passing by the downtown Panama City Marina at the end of Harrison Avenue, then make their way to St. Andrews Marina (first boats arriving about 6:15 PM) where the parade ends. Free parking and viewing at both marinas. Thousands-that’s what we said, folks- thousands of spectators gather every year along the shore and in the bay to usher in the season with the Boat Parade of Lights.

Cops & Kids Toy Run

Sunday morning, November  28th shake off that stuffing! Give yourself an invorgorating morning and give the children of the area a merry Christmas by running or walking the 16th annual Cops & Kids Toy Run. Sponsored by the Panama City Beach Police Department, this run begins at 10:00 am, at Boardwalk Beach Resort, Thomas Drive, Panama City Beach.
