Ah, summertime. When I think of it, almost every time without fail, a certain Sublime song begins to play in my head – nevermind the underlying story. All I remember is “Summertime and the livin’s easy.” And easy living will surely have this fantastic summer we have coming up.
Tourism numbers are up, the weather’s been perfect lately and today we’re announcing the lineup of this summer’s Pier Park Summer Concert Series!
The series is every Thursday evening and begins at 7 pm.

The notice lists all these dates as Thursday but they are actually on Saturday.
Went by there tonight, Saturday, May 29th, and there was no one there.

You sure get some nasty comments for FREE concerts. Tinsley Ellis is a blues musician that we have listened to for over 25 years. My husband and I went on one of our first dates to see him. He is heavy blues guitar. Panama City Pops is phenomenal, awesome, wonderful and a great asset to our city. ENJOY!

My mother is a huge music fan and introduced me to a huge selection of music ranging from
the 1920s onwards, including jazz (Peggy Lee, Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman,
Ella Fitzgerald etc). You will need either a credit card or
a Pay Pal account. And once you are with friends
from the same era, you can drift back and years are wiped away in an instant.
