Have you ever been deep sea fishing? Until last summer, I hadn’t. Which is rather surprising, since I grew up here on the Gulf Coast and spent most of my impressionable days on the deck of one boat or another. It was a warm day in late May. The first few catches were decent B-liners (Vermillion Snapper). The next week Red Snapper season opened and I’m still not sure who was more hooked, me or the fish. The fight at the bottom of the line made dinner taste that much better. I’m not alone. Offshore fishing is big business.
Marketing committee meeting will be January 22 at 9 AM to review and discuss creative execution. Should be fun!
Remember the Show N Tail club from Panama City Beach’s yesteryear? The club owner, Allen Johnson, appeared before the Bay County Commission yesterday to put forward a petition to re-open the well-known adult establishment on Holley Lane southwest of the Thomas Drive/98 interchange.
You would think that we had exhausted the short sale dilemma but not hardly as I still get questions each week about whether someone should just walk away or try their hand at short selling their home. In most cases although it is a test in patience a short sale may be a better option for a seller and sometimes a buyer as well. (will address buyer advantages next week)
