City Pier, Construction Update 1 Minute

The City Pier, directly across from Pier Park is making progress in leaps and bounds.  In just four short weeks, they have doubled the length at which the pier extended into the Gulf of Mexico.

There is still much work to be done, as the project is expected to wrap up early next summer.  Most of the pilings are in, and much of the pier deck is in place.

  1. They do seem to be making really good progress on the pier. When finished, the 2 identical PCB piers will be the longest on the Florida Panhandle at over 1500 feet! Fishing should be good as well since the pier will extend out past the second sand bar.
