Last weekend for the Panama City Beach Seafood Wine and Music Festival we had a booth set up and were giving away almost $2,000 in free stuff to those of you that came by and signed up.  Unfortunately, most of the weekend, we were not able to be at the booth because we were working the event.  So, in all fairness for all of you that stopped by and missed us, we decided to open up this giveaway here.

The magnitude of this giveaway is actually kind of insane as we’ve never done anything like this before.  If this looks like a ton of stuff to give away, that’s because IT IS!

So, what are we giving away, you ask?  Here’s the lineup:

So, by now you’re probably asking what in the world you have to do to have a chance to win some of this awesome stuff.  Well, at the Festival, the goal was to get people to come on camera and give a “testimonial” on why they love pcbdaily, but after a few shy’d away from that, I shy’d away from trying to ask any one else.  I don’t like being pushy anyway.  So, all you have to do is post a comment below with a valid email address and first name and tell us what you love most about or why you like pcbdaily.

We are going to give you all until Friday October 23 at 5 pm to submit your comments and we’ll do the drawing on Saturday and air the results on Monday. 10 people are going to win something, so if only 100 people enter you stand a 1 in 10 chance to win, those are pretty sweet odds!

Rules

  • Each entrant can enter once and only once (we can verify this by ip AND cookies) and must use a valid first name and email address.
  • Contest begins when this post is published and ends on Friday October 23 at 5 pm CST.
  • We must have at least 100 entrants to give away all the prizes, if we have less than 100 entrants, then we will only give away one of the vacation packages from By The Sea Resorts, 1 gift card to Pier Park and 2 Gift Cards from Hofbrau Beer Garden.
  • All winners will be chosen at random.  There will be 10 winners total.
  • By entering you are opting in to receive future newsletters and emails from pcbdaily and The Beach Show and you are opening yourself up to the greatest resource for news and information Panama City Beach has to offer.
  • If you are selected and you do not respond to our email notifying you of winning within three business days (being defined from 8 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) then we reserve the right to either keep the prize for another give away in the future or award the prize to another entrant.
  • This giveaway is open to anyone in the continental United States however, we will not mail the designer Fanimation fan, but the rest is small enough for us to mail if you wish.

  4. I sit six hours away in Atlanta day-in and day-out dreaming of being at PCB. When the PCBDaily comes, I can enjoy all things PCB vicariously. It’s not the same as being there, but Daily keeps me informed so I know what’s going on with developments, restaurants, entertainment and people. Perhaps the next best thing, until my flip flops hit the sand.

  9. This site is better than the Panama City Beach Chamber. It is more current, has more information, and covers more topics. I live in Penscola and travel to PCB on weekends. We stay at the Palmetto with Rick and his family and love the family atmosphere and the warm welcome each time. This site lets us know whats going on, where it is, how to get to it, and who to see. Every trip we plan, we check out this site to make our plans. Thanks for the work and effort you guys put into this site. I also recommend this site to business associates and friends traveling in the PCB area.

    Our condo is in PCB but we live in Atlanta…..it’s sooo nice to be able to stay “in the know” about real estate happenings as well as local growth and progress updates in Panama City Beach! Jason, you have a true knack for writing and I have often wondered if you were ever a reporter in a past life!?!? I love being informed by you & PCBDaily!

    1. it’s so funny, I get similar responses and comments all the time. I actually have no professional experience in writing, reporting or jounalism, but I do enjoy communication. I have a degree in criminology, I have my real estate license, and I end up playing with video more than anything. wierd spread, I know.

    Everyone I know does…It is my local HUB for information and happenings in the PC area…In fact, I get more useful information here for my business, than through any other media source in town! I pass it along to all of my out of town customers as a courtesy, and it is the one potential piece of “spam” that you definitely want to add to your approved sender list!

  23. I know your rules are for the USA but….. I spend 5 months of the year in PCB at the Dunes of Panama. So….I use the pcbdaily to keep up on pCB news and events. …Perhaps more so than Local folks who have access to other media in the area. Maybe next contest consider the CDN snowbirds.

  37. 1. PCBDaily had good short informative articles to keep anyone abreast of community, social events, and news on the beach. My home is PCB but I have a lot of friends and family who visit or have summer property here. I forward PCBDaliy so they can keep up with PCB news and schedule there next trip here. I own several properties here and like to keep I eye out for real estate in the area. PCBDaily is also good resource for new visitors to the beach.

  40. I live in Rolling Meadows, IL and this is the only site you can get up to date information on what is going on around PCB. Forget the online newspaper (don’t repeat that I said that since I work for the local newspaper) and forget about the online websites for the local tv stations. I loved it when you investigated what was going on with the tear downs near the Sunbird since I own one. I try to let me renters know what is going on in the area and the only way to do that is to check pcbdaily.com.
    Great site and I and I know others would be lost without it. Keep up the GREAT WORK.

    Seriously – the things I’ve learned from the newsletter is places I had no idea about even though we live here. What’s the best place to eat or what are the favorite places to visit. Things we pass onto our out of town visitors.
