Want to Tour The New Airport Site? Just RSVP

One of PCBDaily.com’s most popular topics is the new Northwest Florida Beach International Airport. Whether it’s a big development or just a few pics of the site, interest is always high. Well, Young Professionals @ THE Beach is offering you a chance to check out the site for your self with an Airport tour on Wednesday, April 14th.

If you want to join YP at THE Beach for a pre-opening tour of the new Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport, the group will meet at Shades at the Loop at 3 PM and will depart from there, via shuttle, to the airport.

This is a great opportunity to tour this amazing facility before it opens to the public!

There is a limited number of spaces available. You can register by contacting Wendy Radke via phone or email.

  1. New Airport
What types of ground transportation will be available for people who will not be renting a car or staying in a hotel? (I assume hotels will be providing a shuttle service to customers?) I will be visiting my aging parents who live in Callaway and I am not able to find out what type of ground transporation will be available, such as the Trolley, at the current airport. I’d at least like to get as far as the Panama City Mall area. Could the shuttle services be available at a reasonable cost for people in a situation such as mine? Could someone help me?
    Thank you very much.

  3. I have a few questions I like to toss to whomever can answer them
    1. What National airlines will be available fron this new airport. (Delta, USair,Etc…)
    2. Are we making or thinking of making some progress in trying to get international flights to the new airport? (British Airways, Lufthansa, Airfrance, Canadian airlines?…etc etc)
    3. Are we inviting any major couriers like FedEx, UPS, to hub at the airport?
    4. Did we dream biog on this project and have possibility for extension of the terminal to make room for Other airlines?
    5. Will ground transportation to PCB or PC be available?
    6. I noticed, since I drive it every day that this is the 3rd or 4th times the county has repaved 388. Why do I and 40 other residents who live in the Sand Hill area, still have 1 1/2 mile for dirt road that turn to mud when it rains?
Sorry, I just had to throw that one in.

I had to pay to pave my road so i think everybody else should to. My taxes went up 6X in 3 years and I had to buy my own road.
