This weekend begins on November 11th, as we remember and honor our military veterans. While you’re here, there are plenty of events for the whole family. Beginning with a Veterans’ Day Parade, PCB offers a classic car show, a once a year shopping event, a beach celebration and much more!
Veterans Day Parade in Downtown Panama City
The Bay County Commission and the Bay County Veterans Council hosts the annual Veterans Day Parade on Thursday November 11th in downtown Panama City, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the 1200 block of Harrison Avenue. The parade includes a military review and a wreath-laying ceremony as well as vocalists, bagpipes and the Mosley High School Marine Corps JROTC.
Free Anderson Cruise for ALL Veterans
To honor all of neighbors and visitors who serve our country, Captain Anderson’s Marina cruises is offering a free cruise for ALL Veterans, Retired Military, Currently Serving Military and Their Families. Military I.D. Required. The celebration begins at 11:30 a. m. with cruise following. Tickets are available now at Capt. Andersonís Marina. Emerald Coast Cruizin
Emerald Coast Cruizin – The South’s Best Blast from the Past family fun event. Cars, hot rods, trucks, food, and vendors all team up for a great weekend at Frank Brown Park 16200, Panama City Beach Parkway-right across the street from Pier Park. And wait, there’s more! Rock out with the bopping sound of T Graham Brown and TG Sheppard -and 100% of the ticket sales go to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bay County. Doors open at 6:00pm for the concert, show begins at 8:00pm. $20 advance and $25 the night of at the door. Tickets available at Sharky’s, and HammerHead Fred’s.

Holly Fair 2010 “Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice”
Holly Fair is the area’s premier once a year shopping extravaganza. Come out to Boardwalk Beach Resort and see more than 80 merchants with unique gifts, specialty items boutique apparel, holiday decorations, jewelry, home decor, one-of-a-kind accessories and children’s clothing. The Preview Party is Thursday evening at 6:00, and there will be Brunch on Friday morning at 8:00 a. m. Tickets are available through the Junior Service League at (850)785-7870. General Admission will be Friday, November 12 10:30 am to 8:00 pm, Saturday, November 13 – 9:00 am – 8:00 pm, and
Sunday, November 14 from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm Admission is $5.00 for adults, and all proceeds benefit Bay County children.
Good Vibes Music & Art Festival
The Second Annual Clean Water Good Vibes Music & Art Festival benefitting The Surfrider Foundation Emerald Coast Chapter is happeining Sunday November 7th on the beach behind Spinnaker’s Beach Club. A Clean Water paddle will kick off the event at 11:00 am. Next see paddle board & skim board demonstrations, and local arts & crafts displays. There’ll be a surf movie at sunset, a surfboard raffle and the Good Vibes music festival beginning at noon. Nothing Short of Pure leads off nine bands. Food & Beverage provided by Spinnaker Beach Clubs Paradise Grill. $10 donation at the door receives an all day adult pass and a door prize ticket, with children under 12 admitted free.
Fiddler on the Roof
Celebrate the life of composer Jerry Bock and have a rousing good time Sunday at 7:30 p. m. when downtown Panama City’s Marina Civic Center presents Fiddler on the Roof, the Tony Award winning musical with universal appeal. Tickets on sale now at the Marina Civic Center www.marinaciviccenter.com.
