Friday Fest in Downtown Panama City

Friday, March 4 (6pm-10pm)

Downtown Panama City comes alive with Music, Food, and Fun on the first Friday of the month, starting in March and running through November. Local shops and restaurants stay open late and the festivities run until 10 pm, providing a great opportunity to shop, eat and have a great time. Whether you are a regular, or you’ve never been, this is your chance to grab a friend, your family or some random stranger and join us for Friday Fest! Downtown Panama City, Six blocks of Harrison Ave between 6th St & Beach Drive.

Panama City Beach Mardi Gras in Pier Park!)

Fri & Sat, March 4-5: Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez!” (Let the good times roll)

8th Annual Gulf Coast Home and Garden Expo

Friday-Sunday, March 4-6 (Fri, 12pm-6pm. Sat, 10am-6pm. Sun, 12pm-4pm)

General admission is $6, and $5 for seniors and military. Kids Free

Panama City Square- The Gulf Coast Home and Garden Expo is the place to be! People of the panhandle know this is the place to see the latest trends in the industry. Gulf World Marine Park

Saturday, March 5,The Return” Featuring A Sgt. Pepper Show

The captivating, fun, exciting spirit that came to be known as “Beatlemania” is alive again in the Return-the world’s most authentic and entertaining Beatles tribute band. These four lads, all in their early to mid-twenties, have carefully and skillfully recreated the Beatles experience by not only performing all the great songs of the original four, but also by sporting the same suits, boots, mop-tops, musical instruments, and gear. The Return make it possible for music fans from every generation to experience the same thrilling rush felt by fans who were fortunate enough to attend an actual Beatles concert in the early sixties.

Travis Tritt was one of the leading new country singers of the early ’90s, holding his own against Garth Brooks, Clint Black, and Alan Jackson. He was the only one not to wear a hat and the only one to dip into bluesy Southern rock. Consequently, he developed a gutsy, outlaw image that distinguished him from the pack. Monday, Mar 07, (1pm)

Darryl Kevin Richardson II (born January 19, 1984) better known by his stage name Lil Scrappy, is an American rapper. Richards was discovered by producer and performer Lil Jon while performing at a bar, when a fight broke out during his set in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. Along with label-mates Trillville, Lil Scrappy was one of the first signings to Lil Jon’s BME Recordings. Lil Scrappy built a strong reputation and eager following throughout the South East through various mix-tapes and his 2003 song “Head Bussa”, which was used as the theme for the 2004 Atlanta Braves. Must be 18 to enter show.

LMFAO at Club Le Vela

Tuesday, Mar 08– (7pm)

An electro-rap duo from Los Angeles, CA, LMFAO made their major-label debut in 2008. Comprised of producers, DJs, and clothing designers Sky Blu and Redfoo, LMFAO worked the club circuit for years before making their major-label debut in 2008 with the single “I’m in Miami Bitch,” a song inspired by their first experience at the Winter Music Conference. In the wake of the single’s release on Interscope Records, LMFAO toured the American club circuit and prepared their full-length album debut, Party Rock, which was released in July 2009.     As mardi gras approaches, the phrase on everyone’s lips is: let the good times roll!

    Well, in the heart of historic Downtown Panama City, festivities are warming up.

    On February 3rd and 4th, Krewe of Massalina mardi gras parade and festival will kick off.

    On its opening day, events will be held from 3 to 10 pm.

    The following day, the main parade will be held at 3 pm.

    More than fifty vendors will be set up.

    And if you’re looking for great N’Orleans style rhythms, 2 stages with local and out of state musicians will be filling the air with music.

    The Krewe of Massalina mardi gras parade and festival will be free of charge.
