Panama City Beach Festival of the Arts

Coming up on September 17th from 10 am to 6 pm, the Palms Conference Center is hosting the Festival of the Arts, an arts and crafts show and sale. The event will include paintings of all types, sculptures, varying types of crafts that can include wood workings, puzzles, jewelry and more.

The event is located at the Palms Conference Center located in east Panama City Beach.  The conference center is right down the street from Wonderworks and Ripley’s Believe it or Not!

How to become a vendor

If you’re interested in having your arts or crafts displayed at this event, becoming a vendor is easy.  Just go to their website and download the Vendor application, linked to on the left of their site.

  1. I wish this were more than a one day event…… it is the day we arrive & I certainly would love to attend this. From what you have shown here there are some beautiful things to be seen and possibly purchased.
    Is this a “free” to the public event?

  2. What organization is responsible for putting on this event? Is it a juried show? Is it a new show to Panama City Beach? How much does it cost?

  3. I have been doing some research on the art show and wanted to share what I had learned.

    – The show does not cost anything to attend.
    – The show is a two day show, September 17th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and September 18th from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
    – It is a juried show, however, anyone can go to the website and fill out an application. As long as you create handmade goods that fit within their categories, you will be considered for the exhibit.
    – They are accepting applications through September 15th.

  4. Holley answered most of the questions. The festival is hosted by Suite Hospitality Resort Management, which manages the Palms Conference Center and The Sleep Inn. This is the first year of the festival. The application is downloadable at Cost of an indoor booth is $75 and outdoor booths are $50.00. We have tables for the indoor booths if a vendor needs them. If a vendor requires walls to hang up art they can rent walls, which are framed welded wire 6 feet high, for an additional $50.00, but we build them per request, so let me know soon if you need the walls.
