Election – New School Board Members, Same County Commission

With two of the three county commission seats narrowly retained Bill Dozier smashed his opponent, John Salak by almost 7,000 votes, 19,399 to 12,701. Mike Thomas won 9,885 to Jim Lawson’s 9,034.

Ryan Neves took out Johnny Brock a whopping 19,231 to 13,444.

Tapestry Park Cinema Brings Movies to Life in Panama City Beach

Bring your lawn chairs, picnic baskets and blankets and get ready for the second installment of Tapestry Park Cinema. Tapestry Park will continue hosting a free movie night on Friday, July 25th. The event will run once a month through September. Each month, a well known film will be shown on a giant 16-foot screen in Savannah Park. Tapestry Park Cinema will also be offering a cash-only concession stand.

“We received numerous compliments following the first movie night at Tapestry Park and everyone is so excited for this event to continue,” said Mark Tanney, the developer of Tapestry Park. “We have had such an outpouring of support from the community and hope others will come join us for the next movie; who doesn’t love surfing penguins!”

Tapestry Park to have Monthly Outdoor Monthly Movie Nights

Bring your lawn chairs, picnic baskets and blankets and get ready for the inaugural Tapestry Park Cinema. Tapestry Park will host a free movie night once a month beginning on Friday, June 27th. Each month, a well known film will be shown on a giant 16-foot screen in Savannah Park. Tapestry Park Cinema will also be offering a cash-only concession stand.

“The films we have chosen for this first series are certainly geared towards the entire family and there isn’t a more perfect setting to experience a movie than outdoors, under the stars,” said Mark Tanney, the developer of Tapestry Park. “We’re thrilled to offer these events not only for our homeowners, but for the community at large, including all of our guests visiting from out of town.”

Each of the screenings will begin at sundown, around 8:00 p.m.; however, guests are encouraged to arrive early to secure their spot on the lawn. 5th Annual Compassionate Chefs for Kids

Wild Heron Owners Offered Full Golf Membership at Shark's Tooth

Last August when St. Joe bought Shark’s Tooth Golf Course including a 10 acre practice facility, a 21,000 square foot clubhouse, a huge cart storage facility, a 4,000 square foot pro shop, four lighted HydroCourt Har-Tru tennis courts and the private 100? waterfront beach club property, golf memberships were no longer available to Wild Heron property owners.

This was a huge issue with existing owners because it no longer allowed they to purchase a private golf membership, including all future owners. So, if you purchased a homesite and built a home, you could not golf on the course that helps define your neighborhood. Stinks, right?

pcbdaily.com – Something New is Coming

I’ve been working on this for a while and finally was able to bring it live – The New PCBDaily.com!

Not only do we have a fresh new design, but I’ve also made the content more available with a new navigation at along the top. With all the content, this should help make it easier to find it.

Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be rolling out new features. A new feature that was just deployed was a new image gallery feature. I had had requests from some that could not access yahoo’s flickr site for the images, so I switched to a self-hosted photograph system that should alleviate this problem. Also, I added a sidebar item that shows some of the most recent pictures.
