Only four more concerts scheduled as part of the Pier Park summer concert series 2010 – so be sure to catch tonight’s fantastic show! George Porter Jr is New Orleans’ premier bass player, and has performed with artists such as Paul McCartney, Jimmy Buffett, David Byrne, Patti LaBelle, Robbie Robertson and Tori Amos.
Along with the Runnin’ Pardners, George Porter Jr will be rocking the Aaron Bessant Amphitheater tonight with a funky fusion of rock, funk and R&B – guaranteed to get you moving! Show starts at 7pm and is free and open to the public. Don’t forget your lawn chairs, blankets and small coolers!
