Tonight sees the second to last concert in the Pier Park summer concert series – so if you haven’t made it to a performance yet this year, this is a great opportunity to get out and enjoy some incredible live music at the Aaron Bessant Amphitheater. Show starts at 7:00 pm and is free and open to the public!
Colonel Bruce Hampton formed his first band in 1963 and has been making music ever since. The Colonel has fronted many bands including The Late Bronze Age and The Aquarium Rescue Unit, and today is touring with guitarist Perry Osborn, bassist Kris Dale and drummer Duane Trucks as The Quark Alliance. The Colonel and the boys play an original mix of rock, blues and improvisational jazz.
