No thanks…Taxes are already high enough…Do they charge to enter public parks? Walk along the City streets? Then why should I pay to enter a public pier paid for by my taxes. I know there are many that will, but I expect better from my tax dollars than to have to pay twice for something that should be free!

Roundabout would you like your taxes to pay for the maintenance, security, utilities, and keeping it clean or would you want it kept up by the people that use it? None of that stuff is free. If the user fees were not there it would
end up just like the old junky county pier.
I for one am happy to pay the small fee to use it.

only tourists who don’t pay taxes here should have to pay to use it. Locals should be free.
