What a weekend to be on Panama city Beach! We have some amazing events: history, brand new attractions, sun, fish and fun- and DON’T forget the fireworks!
What to expect, wear and do this weekend.
The weekend before Halloween- Another great sun weekend- I believe, ladies-and gentlemen- we’re going to have to begin our own tradition of the “Fall” bathing suit, since october is such a wonderful month on the beach here. Again- sunscreen and hats- even though the sun appears lower in the sky- you still may get a burn if you’re not protected! Warmer than last weekend- still have those khaki shorts where you can get to them! Guys- well, yeah- a polo, maybe some khaki shorts- Guys are tough…
ANOTHER weekend of dramatic sunsets for beach portraits! Watch the time- the sun is going down fast- we lose a minute a day- but that means plenty of night time to fill!
On the shore, keep your eyes out, and shuffle your feet, don’t stomp- rays are running in large numbers-lovely to see, not so much to step on.
Not much surf, but what great snorkeling! Clear and full of fish.
Anglers might like to know: With the water’s temperature still in the 70’s there could be Kings, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Blue runners, Cobia, Pompano, Tarpon, Jacks, shark, and many other species moving through our waters.

Sunday: Sunny, high up to 81.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy again, low about 79, sunset 6:03 p.m.
