You almost had a chance to see how lovely our beaches look during a storm- an intensely different experience.   Guess you’ll have to check out some of the exciting holiday festivals for thrills instead, because it’s going to be another sunny, perfect weekend here on Panama City Beach. Bring a costume and a nice sweater; there will be enough to do that you can wear both. You might even want a cover up on the sand Friday morning.

Thursday night will be clearing up and afford you an unforgettable sunset at 5:59. Crisp low around 52, brought in by a north northwest breeze, around 15 mph.

Friday: Sunny, 73 beautiful degrees.

Friday Night: Sun  sets at 5:58 and you’ll have plenty of time to take pictures, then get ready for a party. Are you wearing a costume? If not, you might want a jacket or a sweater, low may be around 50.

Saturday: Sun, sun, sun! High near 74.

Saturday Night: Sunset at 5:57, and stargazing weather getting down to about 55.

Sunday:  Sunny, up to 77 degrees.

Sunday Night: Sun setting at 5:57, only getting to the balmy temp of 60.

The Gulf has been boiling – with fish, that is-Bait fish, rays -make sure and shuffle, don’t stomp-  it’s all out there- I saw a sea turtle near shore last Friday at the city pier, and then this week a fishing friend saw one himself- Fantastic!

The water temp is in the low to high 70’s – great snorkeling, or catching-you may see Kings, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Blue runners, Cobia, Pompano, Tarpon, Jacks, shark and more.
