Ring in the holiday season with the annual Panama City Beach Christmas tree lighting celebration. This annual event is held at Frank Brown Park, and this year marks the 31st year Panama City Beach has been doing this.
Every year we attend, and every year we meet you and others and take part in having fun as a community. Every year local churches and schools provide refreshments and entertainment is provided by local school choirs.
Come picture ready and ready to tell Santa what you’re wanting for Christmas, kids. Santa will be out for pictures all evening.
The event starts at 6:30 pm and is at the Frank Brown Park Community Center in Panama City Beach. For more information, you can call 850-233-5045.

Thank you for still calling it a Christmas tree and not a holiday tree or an XMAS tree. we are sorry we are still up in Branson, MO and will miss it… but wanted to say thank you!
brrr, well, we’ll give Santa a hug for you!
I know it’s cold up there. and your welcome for calling it a Christmas Tree. That’s what it is!
I agree with Paulette, I am pleased that you took a big step & called it just what it is: A Christmas Tree
It’s still hard for me sometimes to imagine “Christmas” in PCB…….. or in any place where there’s an ocean or beach. When we were vacationing there in October we saw many halloween pumpkins lite up at homes along the coast…. that was just as strange for me.
I guess if I lived there year round I would get used to this & not give it a thought …. I know the tree lighting will be grand, these are all “special” things that make happy & remind us of the true meaning of the season!
any web cams down there? would surely love to be there instead of here in Missouri with 20 degree weather!
Beautiful ceremony!!! I will be back next year!!!!!
u will see me singing tonigh at the christmas
