What a weekend. Have you heard the old chestnut that whatever you do on New Year’s Day is what you’ll be doing the entire year? I can’t think of a better argument for spending your weekend here on Panama City Beach! In addition to the Beach Ball Drop at Pier Park, many more New Year’s Eve events are beckoning… The temps are just right- not so warm you can’t wear that outfit; just bring a pair of hot boots and you’re off!
Thursday night: Balmy breezes, dramatic sunset at 4:52 pm.
New Year’s Eve Day: A few clouds, maybe a shower after noon. Warm, near 68. Great shopping weather.
New Year’s Eve: Sit out on the beach and watch a beautiful sunset at 4:53 pm. Only down to about 58, but a little breezy, so dress accordingly if you are going out for the Beach Ball Drop.
New Year’s Day: Same as yesterday, up to about 66, possible showers. Perfect day to watch some bowl games, or check out some of our local treasures.
Saturday Night: Great day to check out the sunset at 4:53, and get some rest. Low at the beach about 55.
Sunday: High about 65. Cloudy. Beach walking and shopping.
Sunday Night: Sun setting at 4:54 p.m. -lows about 43 at the beach.
More great plans here on Panama City Beach for New Year’s than I can remember!
For fishing, try out some of the new tackle you got for Christmas. Let us know how you do. This is a weekend for memories! Happy New Year! Can’t wait to see you in 2011!
