Weekend Weather- Good Lookin’

Head for the parks, the beaches or someone’s inflatable pool this weekend because the temps are heating up and the skies are begging you to get out of the house.

If you don’t have a legitimate reason to leave the house, make one up. Practice the fine art of Garden Gnome Liberation (preferably not your neighbors please), pretend to get lost en route to the Grocery store, or simply do what my Mom used to do to me as a kid. Offer up two options and let the family decide. My Mom’s tactic was “Play outside or Take out the trash” and with that, off to the great outdoors we went!

BIG NEWS! As of Wednesday, we’re the only state in the union with OUT snow on the ground! Nice, no ice! Clear skies, a little chill, but you can see every star in the sky, and in the daytime, so many birds on the shoreline. What a great time to be on Panama City Beach!

What a weekend. Have you heard the old chestnut that whatever you do on New Year’s Day is what you’ll be doing the entire year? I can’t think of a better argument for spending your weekend here on Panama City Beach! In addition to the Beach Ball Drop at Pier Park, many more New Year’s Eve events are beckoning… The temps are just right- not so warm you can’t wear that outfit; just bring a pair of hot boots and you’re off!

No muss, no fuss, just relaxation on the Gulf of Mexico. Mostly balmy,  but if you bring a rain poncho and some boots, you can walk on the beach every day and enjoy the beauty only the beach can bring. Have a wonderful holiday.
