Get out those dancing shoes!

Er, well, in this case- pull up those socks and strap on those sock garters, ’cause it’s time to shimmy!

On Sunday, March 13th from 6-10pm, The Emerald Coast Convention and Visitors Bureau, and its industry partners, are hosting a Snowbird Appreciation Sock Hop!

Snowbirds and Locals are all invited and encouraged to jitterbug.

The Emerald Coast Convention and Visitors Bureau and its industry partners hosts a Snowbird Appreciation Rock Around the Clock Sock Hop

The Emerald Coast Convention and Visitors Bureau, and its industry partners, are hosting a Snowbird Appreciation Sock Hop on Sunday, March 13th from 6-10pm for both our Snowbirds and our locals!

We invite you to “Rock Around the Clock” at the Emerald Coast Convention Center dressed in your best 50’s attire and participate in the costume contest! Bring out your greatest Marilyn or Elvis impersonations!

This blast from the past will include live music from The Tip Tops, dancing, timely trivia, soda shops, and more!

The Tip Tops are a high energy dance and show band based out of Mobile, and come complete with a brass band, “The Toppettes”  add to that the costume changes and the end result makes for an entertainment-packed evening of fun!

Their recent engagements include Alabama Governor Bob Riley’s inauguration ball and country singer and songwriter Reba McEntire’s Christmas party.

So come on out and plan to shake, rattle, and roll with the great tunes of Elvis, Marvin Gaye, Little Richard, and The Supremes just to name a few!
Tickets are on sell at the Emerald Coast Convention Center, and are $7.50 in advance or $10 at the door. This price includes light refreshments, an entry to win door prizes, and a bag full of goodies and coupons!
