If you’ve been wanting a dream job that’s flexible, cutting edge (cheesy term, I know) and right in the middle of the action, this could be the opportunity for you.
We’re looking to hire a part time blogger for PCBDaily who will also assist the CYber SYtes marketing department and help with social media.
This job will be a 20 hour a week position and is pretty flexible in that most weeks, you’ll be able to work just about when you want, during regular business hours. You can come in late, leave early, work on Saturday and take Friday off if you need to – you get the picture.
The perfect candidate will have:
- Associates or Bachelors in marketing, business administration and/or communications.
- At least two years experience in business operations, marketing or communication, and content writing or blogging.
- Familiarity with WordPress a huge bonus.
- Familiarity and proficiency with Photoshop, Final Cut, iMovie, Adobe Premiere a huge bonus too!
- Will have their own laptop (preferably a mac, j/k :D)
Here is the job description:
The person we hire will be responsible for writing blog posts, taking photos, uploading them to PCBDaily, and publishing articles on PCBDaily. They will be expected to write and communicate well and professionally. This person will also be expected to work with Facebook pages and Twitter, and also be competent with online marketing. We work a lot with Photoshop and would love it if you were at lease somewhat proficient with it – but if not, we can train you. But, you will need to have your own laptop.
This will be a great position for someone wanting to gain professional experience in online publishing, social media management, marketing and communication.
In addition to the roles with PCBDaily, this person will be an assistant to the Marketing Department at CYber SYtes (which is me) and will work on social media management for some of our clients.
