It seems like just a few days ago I was on the beach, marveling at how much sand my toddler managed to capture in his diaper. Yet, here we are, watching another year pack its bags, while preparing to welcome in the next guest of our calender year.
In an effort to keep 2010 from having hard feelings over being ushered out, Pier Park has been busy creating a New Year’s Eve bash guaranteed to welcome 2011 in with a bang, while helping 2010 leave feeling like a pimp.
We’ve been lucky enough to get the New Year’s Eve schedule from the mighty forces over at Pier Park and with all the exuberance of an overly cooped up housewife, we now (dramatic statement about to happen) present it to you.

Nashville Recording artists The Springs, with their high energy Country/Southern Rock concerts, have entertained thousands of fans all over the U.S. thus far. An unsigned band from South Alabama, many are saying that The Springs are the “Next Big Thing” in Country Music.
Amid the soaring four-part harmonies and electric stage presence, it’s clear that Gloriana represents an exciting new force in country music. The group — Tom Gossin,
Mike Gossin, Rachel Reinert and Cheyenne Kimball — consists of four uniquely talented musicians joining forces to create a fresh, one-of-a-kind sound that reflects the best of today’s Nashville.
Fun, upbeat and relaxing island favorites and originals, including Brown-Eyed Girl, Red Red Wine, Where Bananas Grow and more

Actually, I’m happy you asked! We’re about to post a list of events happening, not related to Pier Park. Hopefully that will give you a little more options/info! Stay tuned! (cheesy, I know, I couldn’t resist saying it)
I am actually wondering if pier park is dropping the beach balls for the kids again earlier in the night. my kids loved it last year so we were inquiring.
According to the schedule I’ve seen listed near the top of this page they are dropping the beach ball and doing fireworks @ 8:00 for the kiddos.
