Dubbed “America’s true sports car”, the Corvette has a long history of smooth lines, fast rides and adrenaline. And what better place or time of year to have a Corvette show than Pier Park in late spring.
Last year’s show had a great turn out with tons of shiny cars and fat tires. This year promises to be better with Vettes of “every color and vintage imaginable.”
The event is free and will take place on Saturday April 23rd from 9 am to 2 pm in the parking lot behind Buffalo Wild Wings.

Holy friggin awesome vacation giveaway, BATMAN! 360Blue Properties is giving away a whopping 7 DAY Vacation in the absolutely fantastic South Walton resort of Watercolor. What’s more, this giveaway is for a 3 bedroom home in Phase I.
And, if all that wasn’t just totally awesome enough – the winner has no restriction on when they can book their free vacation! Usually a prize like this comes with (what I would think reasonable) a stipulation that the free vacation must happen during non-peak times. The winner has all of 2011 and 2012 to book their free vacation.

We’ve long been known as the world’s most beautiful beaches, and it’s not because our beaches are acceptable, or mediocre, or that they are “fine”. Are beaches are considered the best because they are just simply beautiful. The emerald green waters that during most times of the year are crystal clear – all framed by our snow-white sand – make our area a place people literally come from all over to visit.

This year’s Business Expo is coming up fast! Put on every year by the Panama City Beach’s Chamber of Commerce, this year is the 18th year and the theme is “Around the World.”

“Tell me whatcha gonna do tonight and tomorrow…” If last Thursday was any indication, a lot of folks will be rockin’ out at the flyover at Thomas Drive and Front Beach Road ( a.k.a the old Wayne’s World Plaza ) for the second week of the Concrete Concert Series. Over a hundred folks attended the last concert complete with coolers and beach chairs, but the musical entertainment had them on their feet for much of the event.
Coordinated by Thunder Ciolkosz, Thursday night’s line up will feature homegrown bluesman, Tony Vegas and the Hard Time Blues Band. Bring a chair for a family friendly, fun, and free Thursday night of ripping blues licks. Show starts at 7:00 p.m. For more info call 850-234-1919.
You know how when you see project or construction renderings, the imagery always seems so polished, glossy and beautiful looking? You always hope the final product will look just half as good as the original artist’s touch, but the real thing just never seems to be quite as beautiful. Well, in the case of the new Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport – the exact opposite is true. The final product, to me, looks even more beautiful than the original artist’s concepts.
