The 2010 New Year’s Eve bash at Pier Park wouldn’t be complete without a full musical line up. This year, the headlining act is coming straight out of Nashville, where the four part harmonies of Gloriana are already being considered Country’s next big thing. Gloriana’s sound is comprised of 2 parts femininity and 2 parts male ferocity, resulting in a flawlessly energetic sound that has some comparing Gloriana to the musical styling reminiscent of Fleetwood Mac.
In 2009, Gloriana proved to the nation that they were here to stay by taking home the fan-voted award for “Breakthrough Artist of the Year” beating out Lady Gaga for the coveted acknowledgment. During the same year they joined country’s favorite tiny-teen, Taylor Swift, as her opening band during the 2009 (and 2010) Fearless tour.
Gloriana is scheduled to hit the stage on Dec 31st at 11pm, in Pier Park. You may have heard something about a little shin-dig Pier Parks been planning?
