Taste of the Bay's 'Taste The Beach'

Wineries and restaurants both local and from all over the country could be found Friday night at Taste The Beach in Pier Park. It began at 5:30 p.m. with wine enthusiasts starting out at the front of the 3 tents. Each tent had at least 20 different wines that could be enjoyed and multiple food stations where places like Bone Fish Grill was serving Ahi Tuna and Dee’s Hang Out was serving Jambalaya.

Free Clint Black Concert in Pier Park Draws Thousands

The crowd was standing or sitting in their chairs and blankets, cuddled up into each other’s arms Friday night at Pier Park. All waiting and trying to see the stage where Clint Black would perform. The lights went down and at the sound of a guitar the audience jumped up with enthusiastic screams.  Clint Black, with his signature black cowboy hat, brought some heat into the cold night air.

Weekend Events – Clint Black at Taste of the Bay

This weekend is going to be one of the best weekends in Panama City Beach. Clint Black will be playing a free concert at Taste of the Bay. Wine and food lovers will be coming to Pier Park to partake in Taste of the Bay. Triathletes from all over will be participating in the Ironman Triathlon this weekend. The Pier Park summer concert series may be over for the 2010 season – but tonight Aaron Bessant Park will be showcasing one of the best concerts of the year – and it’s all part of the World’s Greatest Pre-Season Tailgate Party!  This exciting 3 day sporting extravaganza starts today with a celebrity golf tournament at Hombre Golf Club, and kicks off with a big bang as the LoCash Cowboys perform their dynamic live show tonight! Pier Park Beach is Almost Complete

A few weeks back, dirt began to be moved and sand was brought in for something all new to Pier Park in Panama City Beach.  Just across the street from the new Miracle Strip @ Pier Park, in the long-vacant and undeveloped lot, they’ve moved in 3,600 tons of crystal white sand that rivals the perfect sand we walk on, on our beaches every day.  What is the meaning of this, you may be asking yourself.  I’ll tell you.

Pier Park Concert Series – Heartbeat City Plays Tonight!

Tonight is the last performance from the Pier Park summer concert series for 2010!  To end this season with a bang, local band Heartbeat City will perform their upbeat 80’s pop style sounds – and will no doubt have the whole place up and dancing as they did recently at Friday Fest in downtown Panama City! According to the band themselves, there will be  some exciting surprises in store for tonight’s concert, so be sure to bring your blanket or lawn chair, and grab a spot close to the stage!

Tonight sees the second to last concert in the Pier Park summer concert series – so if you haven’t made it to a performance yet this year, this is a great opportunity to get out and enjoy some incredible live music at the Aaron Bessant Amphitheater.  Show starts at 7:00 pm and is free and open to the public!
